The Makita®18V LXT® Lithium-Ion cordless fan, model DCF203Z, is a powerful and portable solution for painters, contractors, and more. With three settings for optimal air velocity control, the DCF203Z can be powered by both Makita® 18V LXT Lithium-Ion batteries or an AC adapter. This fan automatically oscillates 45° right and left, and can manually tilt 90° up and 45° down for convenient redirection of airflow. It is part of Makita’s expanding 18V LXT system, the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion batteries, known for their fastest charge times in their categories, allowing for more work time and less charging time. Makita has integrated Star Protection Computer controls™ for improved tool performance and extended battery life. This technology allows the tool and battery to exchange data in real time, monitoring conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. With compatibility with Makita® 18V LXT® and compact Lithium-Ion batteries featuring the Star symbol indicating Star protection inside, this fan offers increased versatility. Furthermore, it features three speed settings (high/medium/low) and an oscillation selector for optimal air velocity control, as well as a design that reduces wind noise levels for quiet operation. It also includes a 3-stage automatic timer with 1, 2, and 4-hour power-off selections.
