Makita 18V batteries not only power an expanding range of 18V cordless tools and accessories but also offer a unique solution to staying cool in hot job site conditions. The 18V LXT® Cordless Cotton Fan Jacket is designed with two recessed fan units on the left and right sides of the jacket, powered by Makita 18V LXT® and 18V Compact Lithium-Ion batteries (sold separately). These fan units provide air circulation inside the jacket, offering up to 15 hours of run time on the high setting when used with a 5.0Ah battery (BL1850).

Additionally, the jacket features two ice pack storage compartments on the back for added cooling benefits. There is also an on-board USB power port that allows you to keep your portable electronic devices charged up while on the go. With three air flow modes plus a turbo mode, you can easily adjust the air flow to suit your working conditions.

Constructed with durable 100% cotton and knitted cuffs and waist for a better fit, the Fan Jacket is designed to keep the air circulating inside. It includes 5 pockets, including two zippered chest pockets with a special hole for storing and charging mobile devices (USB charging cable optional). The battery slides onto the power source, which comes with an integrated belt clip for easy access.
